Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

We also store your study progress — question attempts, scores, mistake records, flashcard states, and settings — to power your personal dashboard and analytics.

2. How we use it

• To run your account and authenticate you
• To show your progress, analytics, and study history
• To process payments if you upgrade to Pro (via Razorpay)
• To send password-reset emails when you request them

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Payments

Pro plan payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card number or UPI credentials — Razorpay handles all payment data under their own security standards (PCI-DSS compliant).

4. AI usage

When you use the AI explanation feature, the question text and your answer are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. We do not store these conversations beyond the current session.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie for authentication (HttpOnly, Secure). Your study progress is also stored in your browser's localStorage for fast access — this stays on your device and is not sent to our servers unless you are logged in.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Data → Reset everything. This removes all your data from our servers. For any privacy requests, email us at support@crackssc.com.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
